Kids Bake a Difference was born out of a desire to help those that can't help themselves, specifically the pets that make our lives better with their unconditional love for us. Several years ago, Gracie wanted to do something different for her birthday. Instead of asking for more toys, she wanted to give back. She asked her friends to bring a donation for The Animal Humane Society. From that birthday party, she was able to donate pet food, toys, treats and money. That led to an urge to do even more.
The following year, Kids Bake a Difference was born. Gracie and her friends created over 3,000 homemade dog treats to be sold at the annual Animal Humane Society's Walk for the Animals in Minneapolis, MN. The treats were bundled into small bags and sold for $5.00/each. 100% of the proceeds went to the Animal Humane Society. From there, Kids Bake a Difference has participated in several other animal events raising funds for those that make a difference in our lives.
